As usual, someone's got to ruin everything. This time, we'll blame the moron spammers who kept signing up with shit accounts to post links to their sites where you could see fake pictures of Britney Spears giving a blowjob (for example). I really don't have time to deal with that shit anymore. It was cute at first, but now it's annoying. I refuse to boost their search engine ratings and used a number of mods and a few different bulliten board applications to prefent them from abusing my bandwidth and forum software, but in the end they win.

For the legitimate users, I'm sorry. I had a vision that my scripting software would be used all over and the forums could be used to obtain support. It really didn't work out that way because I got busy in my personal life and don't have time to deal with it anymore.

So that leaves us with this announcement. What becomes of phpBannerExchange? Well, you can download it but as of right now, I'm abandoning it. I have no plans to develop it further. The script is GPL'd, so if somebody wants to mod it or pick up the torch, have at it..I'd just like to have a reference somewhere that I'm the original author. :)

So to summarize:
1.) Fuck you, spammers
2.) No more phpBannerExchange development
3.) Script stuff is still available, but I'm officially washing my hands of it
